Locating a magazine/journal at home. Find a resource using the Infotrac databases. Using Infotrac databases, students can find full text articles from magazines, journals and reference books. Databases are searchable by keyword. Students can refine or limit searches. Databases can be used at home with passwords which are available at the circulation desk in the library. Type in the Infotrac web address. http://infotrac.galegroup.com/itweb/kctcsprcc Click Health and Wellness Resource Center. Your Screen should look similar to this. In the search box, type breast and cancer and treatment. Make sure to limit your search to full- text articles. Then click the search button. Why use the word and? When you perform a search using the Boolean connector "and", you link two or more keywords. The records that are found must have both keywords. Other Boolean connectors are "or" and "not".
